Denise Nixon, D.D.S.

Dr. Denise Nixon, D.D.S. was born and raised in Chicago, IL. She chose to pursue a career in dentistry upon completion of high school. Dr. Nixon attended Northern Illinois University in DeKalb, IL where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology in 2002. She attended the University of Iowa College of Dentistry and Dental Clinics where she earned her Doctorate of Dental Science (DDS) in 2006.
After completing the dental program at the University of Iowa, Dr. Nixon worked as an associate dentist in private practice, school systems, and community clinics. She pursued additional training in the areas of cosmetic, pediatric, and general dentistry. She continues to expand her knowledge base through continuing education courses and clinical practice to maintain the most current knowledge and clinical skills in the field of general dentistry. Dr. Nixon takes pride in her education and skills and utilizes these two to provide professional, proficient, and quality dental work.
Dr. Nixon works with pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations, which is why she emphatically enjoys practicing general dentistry. She understands the importance of finding a dentist a patient can trust who can take care of the needs of an entire family. In her spare time, she enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends. Dr. Nixon is also passionate about mentoring youth and adults at the high school and college levels so they can be a witness to her testimony that you can grow up and be anything you want to as long as you carry the passion inside your heart to be what it is you chose.
